Innovation is not only technological: increasingly, entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, public agencies and various stakeholders also take social innovations and environmental innovations into consideration. At Audencia's “Finance for Innovation” Chair, social innovation financing is a key topic. Consequently, we have numerous ongoing initiatives related to this topic. We therefore wholly dedicate this 2nd newsletter to our ongoing and completed social innovation financing initiatives.

In the following sections, please discover our published and ongoing research on impact-investing, as well as on Social Impact Bonds. Additionally, we present “Social Economy Financing”, a course, which we've developed and recently taught. This edition of the newsletter also includes two interviews: one features Jean-Marc Bailly, Managing Director of Aster Capital, a multi Corporate Venture Capital fund in Paris, specialized in cleantech and new energies start-ups, while the other features Delphine Rattez, a student at Audencia Business School and intern in INCO, a Paris-based Impact Investing fund. Sowefund's new impact investing offer is presented, and in the Events section, we present the conference organized by our partner, Fonds b., which took place last April 18th, and where Benjamin Le Pendeven and Vincenzo Buffa were speakers.

Happy reading!
