Creation of the Course « Social Economy Financing » in a new Majeure in the Grande Ecole Program.

CSR has been a long-standing key topic and research field at Audencia Business School. Therefore, 2019 saw the establishment of a new Major (Master’s degree specialization) in the Grande Ecole Program.

In the program, Benjamin Le Pendeven created “Social Economy Financing”, a new 30-hour course at Audencia.

This module aims to provide students with the necessary training to:

Understand the characteristics of social finance and finance for social issues

  • Finance social enterprises on the private markets (subsidies, debt, equity)
  • Finance social and environmental goals on the financial markets (SRI, financial market and low-carbon economy, etc.)
  • A key objective is for students to develop a clear understanding of the trends and news in the social finance sector, in both industrialized and emerging-market countries.

In the course, students were able to take advantage of presentations from three practitioners and complementary specialists: Morgan Carval (Managing Director of We Positive Invest, the Impact Investing fund of Arkéa Capital), Delphine Rattez (student at Audencia Business School and intern in INCO, an impact investing fund), the Tech For Good Tour (organized by Makesens and Lattitudes NGOs) and Vincenzo Buffa (PhD student in the Chair).
